Common questions
How much does a stairlift cost?
It depends on your stairs. Straight stairlifts cost the least; curved stairlifts are made to measure, so they cost more. After our free home visit we give you a clear written quote, with no obligation and no pressure.
Do I have to pay VAT?
If the stairlift is for someone with a long-term illness or disability, it can usually be supplied free of VAT. We'll help you fill in the simple form.
What happens if there's a power cut?
The stairlifts we fit run on rechargeable batteries, so they keep working during a power cut. They charge whenever the chair is parked.
Can you repair a stairlift you didn't fit?
Yes, in most cases. Call us with the make and model and we'll let you know.
